Robin-Barrow

Robin Barrow was born in the Lake District, where, as a child he soon developed a strong interest in the arts. Encouraged by his artistic parents, who ran an antiques business, he learnt about the history of art and restoration techniques.

He studied art at foundation level and degree level at Bath Academy of Arts. He specialised in figurative painting and portraiture.

Following his graduation he opened his own gallery and dealt in antique paintings as well as pursuing his own private commissions. He then moved to London, where he worked as a valuer at a Chelsea auction house.

Since having a family he has moved to Sussex, where he now concentrates solely on producing his artwork.
